Ingredients
2 onions (thinly sliced)
1 cup gram flour (besan)
2 tablespoons rice flour
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon red chili powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Water (as needed)
Oil (for deep frying)
Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
In a bowl, mix sliced onions, gram flour, rice flour, green chilies, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt .
Add a little water and mix until you get a thick batter.
Step 2: Fry the Pakoras
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
Drop small portions of batter into the oil and fry until golden brown.
Remove and drain excess oil using a paper towel.
Step 3: Serve & Enjoy
Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup .
